Nicki Minaj returns after a long layoff with two songs dropping Thursday she has announced on Twitter.
The songs, each with artwork, are called "Barbie Tings" and "Chun Li."
She has not released an album since 2014's The Pinkprint, but she has poped up on track with Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott (Krippy Kush Remix), Yo Gotti (Rake It Up) and Migos with Cardi B (Motorsport).
She also came with Migos Quavo on "She for Keeps" from Quality Control's "Control the Streets Vol. 1" compilation.
She also recently received props from an unexpected corner: rocker Jack White, who told Clash Music that hip-hop is "the new punk rock" and named Mina's song "Only" as a high watermark for what he's trying to achieve.
"I mean some of these texts I'm like an adult listening to it by myself is shocked by some of the words I hear. But that's brillia nt! It's great to say what you want garden. I could not get away with saying half of the things that Nicki Minaj says in that song. "
