A DRUNK person gave timely advice to a family who left their car unlocked in Bracken Ridge overnight.
At their stumbling home they noticed the car and decided to scrap a note on a letter to remind the owners about locking their car.
"I love cars I've been drinking (sic). Just look at cars that pass by," read it. "
" Nothing missing, but I was raised in an area where it was everyday.
"Bad things can still happen to good people, lock your car.
" Good luck with your success in life and remember smile. "
The car owner, Jamie-lee Chilcott, said they were still shocked that someone went up the driveway and left the note.
" Fortunately, they were decent enough not to take anything – instead, they left us A note, "she said.
" We lock the car, but feel that my son may have retrieved the keys and clicked on the central lock button. "
" I & # 39; I'm still shocked that nothing was taken on iPods and everything in the car.
"Who ever should have had to get up the driveway in the car."
This incident follows multiple police reports of unlocked vehicles being illegally introduced in the surrounding area.
