The Western Bulldog Liam Picken season may be over – and his career is in doubt – with coach Luke Beveridge, revealing his 2016 premiership star, can not play again this season.
The Picken, who will be 32 late this season, has not played since the Picken has not been able to participate in any serious training since the event where the club takes an understandably cautious approach.
Speaking on radio Thursday afternoon, Beveridge said no risks would be taken with the star tool.
"There's every chance Liam will not play again this year," said Beveridge SEN.
Concussion continues to be a hot topic in AFL with former Brisbane Lion Justin Clarke and Hawk Jack Fitzpatrick among those forced to be forced from the game due to high blows.
