For the families at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, Jarratt Turner was a hero.
Turner, 36, worked as a window cleaner at the hospital and would often dress like Spider-Man to entertain the sick children inside.
In 2014, he even interviewed local news station WZTV.
"It's even better if I can do my job and help some people out at the same time," Turner said at that time. "These children are quite ill and all we can do to make their day a little better, I'm all for it."
But Turner had a dark secret, which, thanks to a task force set by Queensland Police, has now ended him being imprisoned for 105 years.
The Argos task force, established in 1997, is a world-leading pedophile hunting unit, and it was their undercover investigator's work that ultimately led to the captured Turner.
Earlier this week, the US court judge Marvin Aspen Turner judged 105 years in prison in his courtroom in Nashville.
"The verdict of the Court will ensure that this defendant will never get another opportunity to impose its perverted sexual desires on another innocent child," said US lawyer of the Middle District of Tennessee, Don Cochran. Metro.
"I would honestly wish [the sentence] could be more. People like this are predators, and they build trust."
"This was a toddler and an infant and a family who came to trust on him. "
Although Turner used his job as a window cleaner to try to marry children, it is not believed that he managed to find some victims while he worked there.
Undercover investigators, who works for the task force, Argos began to investigate Turner in 2015, first making an online contact with him in May of the same year.
After talking to the undercover police man for a while, Turner sent him two pictures of a naked 2, 5-year-old girl on a switchboard.
In an email exchange, Turner granted sexual abuse of the girl that he had pictures of a young boy and wrote, "I like boys and girls aged 2-10 years."
Turner has also created an account on a photo sharing website with an album titled titles one "my little boy" and the other "my little girl". "I loooooove little ones," he wrote.
The boy and the girl were from two different families Turner befriended and babysat for.
He took sexually explicit pictures and videos of the toddler's girl in 10 different occasions and in the infant boy six different times in his basement apartment in Nashville.
He had 25 pictures of the girl and 16 of the boy.
Queensland investigations eventually passed the information to American Homeland Security Investigations, which led them to a Nashville cafe Turner had used to send the pictures.
He had regularly visited the cafe to use his wireless internet and send the pictures.
The manager and staff easily identified Turner, arrested in June 2015. "The manager also stated that (Turner) would order the same coffee and two scoops ice cream most of the time" the criminal complaint over Turner states.
Turner took guilty reasons for 16 counts of child pornography and child pornography.
