IMPORTANT STAFFs and sex killers should convince the offending victims they deserve to go free during a proposed coalition for the cleanup of the parole system.
The state resistance has announced a plan to amend the Law of Rights to ensure the consultation of the Parole Committee Including at least one victim of crime.
Opposition leader Matthew Guy said that the proposed reform would give victims a voice.
"My victims of crime advisory committees are formed by men and women who have lived the most terrible experiences," he said.
"One thing they've told me is that victims deserve a voice when considering parole."
The Victorians go to the polls in November.
