The royal baby's name has finally been announced – and memes follow thick and fast.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has called their son Louis after keeping us guessed for four days.
Many people went to social media to welcome the newborn to the world – and point out a few famous faces with which he shares a name.
A Twitter user photographed a photo of Louis Tomlinson on a baby's body with the caption: "Prince Louis is so cute."
Others pointed out that there are now two members of One Direction who share names with members of the royal family.
And many referenced documentary film player Louis Theroux, X Factor Judge Louis Walsh and King Louis Orang-Without) from Disney's The Jungle Book.
The child seems to have been named after Louis Mountbatten, the beloved uncle of Prince Philip, who was killed by an IRA bomb in 1979.
